Come join our amazing team of volunteers. Use your wealth of skills, experience, energy and enthusiasm to grow and enhance our sense of community.
Our volunteers are an integral part of Providence Farm and vital to the success of our programs. Volunteers are able to choose which farm programs they would like to get involved with. They are not expected to supervise or counsel participants; simply to be that extra set of eyes and ears.
We're looking for volunteers who:- are willing to learn, participate and share ideas;
- approach the people and the work at the farm with cheerfulness and enthusiasm;
- work alongside our participants - placing their own needs, and the needs of the program first;
- respect the confidentiality of all participants;
- believe in the value of the assignment;
- are punctual, and attend at the scheduled time.
Contact our Community Relations Coordinator, to make an application appointment and set a date for an orientation tour. At that time, we'll work out where you would like to become involved in our community!
